Djeziri began his career with Danish club Boldklubben Frem before joining Scotland's Rangers F.C. on loan. Djeziri played in the Rangers reserve and under-19 teams until the end of the 2006–07 season with a view to a permanent deal. He would have commanded a transfer fee of around £125,000.[1] He was part of the Rangers under-19 team which won the 2007 Scottish Youth Cup and Youth League double.[2]
In July 2007, it was reported that he was close to joining Premier League club Blackburn Rovers for around £125,000.[3] On September 3, 2007, Djeziri joined Leicester City on loan until December 31.[4] On January 9, 2008 Djeziri joined South Coast based English Premiership side Portsmouth.[5]
In May 2008, it became apparent that Djeziri had left Portsmouth. He signed for FC Hjørring in August 2008 and left Hjørring in December 2008 and moved to Vejle BK.[6] While with Vejle BK Djeziri had a solid campaign appearing in 23 matches and scoring 5 goals. In September 2010 once his contract had expired with Vejle BK he joined HB Køge on a free transfer. While with HB Køge he appeared in 13 league matches and scored 1 goal. The goal came in a 2-1 away victory over Viborg.[7]
In a recent interview, he stated that he wanted to represent Algeria in international competition.[8]
